Railfanned (D) and (N) lines (1:36pm-2:38pm)
1:36pm: Used Student Metrocard, entered 79th St Station on the Manhattan bound platform
1:40pm: Manhattan bound R68 (D) train enters the station. Rode rear car #2624.
1:43pm: Train enters 62nd St station and transferred to the (N) using the renovated connection.
1:45pm: Went to New Utrecht Av Station on the Coney Island bound platform to wait for a train to come.
2:14pm: Coney Island bound R160B Siemens (N) train enters the station. Rode rear car #8992.
- Train took approximately 30 minutes to come to the New Utrecht Av Station.
- I did not miss the train. Signal was fully green at the front of the station.
- Train did not make skip-stops. It was that late and it still ran local via Sea Beach.
- There was another R160B Siemens lead car #9037 closely behind my train, and R160B Alstom lead car #8837 closely behind that train.
2:24pm: Train Arrived at Coney Island Station. After train is resting, I remained in the same car, and then it became a lead car after switching directions.
2:27pm: Manhattan bound R160B Siemens (N) train lead car #8992 coupled with another cars departs Coney Island Station, making local stops to Astoria-Ditmars Blvd.
2:38pm: Train Arrived at 18th Av Station, left the station and went home.
